The Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Wellness Program, certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), delivers comprehensive exercise training, education, and counseling focused on the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease.

The Per Diem Registered Nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary care team, providing clinical oversight and supervision of telemetry-monitored exercise sessions. The RN plays a key role in patient safety, individualized care planning, and ongoing assessment throughout the rehabilitation process.

In addition, the RN delivers evidence-based education and counseling related to lifestyle modification and cardiovascular risk reduction, both in group classes and individual sessions. Participation in community outreach, educational lectures, and wellness-focused initiatives is encouraged, supporting the program’s mission to promote long-term heart health beyond the clinical setting.

Requirements

  • RN License - NH State or any other compact state
  • BSN Preferred
  • Autonomy as well as strong assessment and decision making skills
  • Past ER, ICU/CCU or Telemetry Step-down unit experience is required.
  • BCLS needed within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS certified or within 6 months of hire.
